Description
Dog Breed: Jindo (Korean) / Mixed. Meet Happy! Don't let his name fool youHappy is more of a laid-back, chill kind of guy who is perfectly content taking life at his own pace. Happy is an approximately 89-year-old Jindo who has spent his entire life living outside. Because of this, he may need some time and patience as he adjusts to a new way of life. A quiet home with a calm environment may be the best fit for this independent fella. Happy is easy on leash, treat motivated, and enjoys the simple things in life. He isn't looking for a busy household or a lot of chaoshe's looking for a peaceful place to spend his golden years. Happy needs a home with no other animals and no children. He would do best with someone who appreciates an independent dog and is willing to let him settle in and become comfortable at his own pace. Quiet home preferred. No kids. No other animals. Easy on leash Treat motivated Independent & laid-back Happy may not be the dog who needs to be the center of attention, but he could be the perfect companion for someone looking for a calm, independent fella to share the quiet moments with. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
