Other: Spayed Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip Sweatpants wants to bring a warm, familiar comfort to your life Foster Home Feedback 8/28/26 Volunteer Feedback: I played chaperone for Sweatpants at the Tractor Supply event recently, and I also spent time with her during a recent shelter shift. She responded well to sit, lay down, and shake, and was very motivated by treats as rewards. She played a little, but treats were definitely her priority. Sweatpants also wanted hugs and is a big nuzzler. She seemed to respond better to adults than kids in the store, though I’m not sure if that’s a pattern or just how she felt that day. She was great in the car—she liked looking out the side window or watching the front view. Sweatpants jumped into my Jeep as soon as I opened the door and waited for the okay before jumping back out again. She was well‑behaved while driving and stayed calm the whole time. She was easy to walk on the leash, didn’t pull, and frequently checked in with me. Today we watched a large rabbit come close, stop, then hop across the road. Sweatpants paused, watched it, then checked in with me again. She got a reward, we watched the rabbit leave, and continued our walk with no pulling or barking. 8/15/26 Volunteer Feedback: Sweatpants is a gorgeous and lively girl who looks forward to a family and home of her own. She is an excellent walker on leash, never getting distracted by bikes, barking dogs, people, or critters (except maybe the occasionally enticing rabbit!). Incredibly inquisitive, her nose is to the ground taking in all the smells she possibly can. She warms quickly to all people and is very polite by staying on the ground and sniffing. In the car, she enjoys to keep her head out the window and feel the breeze. Surprisingly, she is a quiet girl who only whined when entering a drive-through for a pup cup (and was very happy to have her treat). She is a very goofy gal and slightly uncoordinated when it comes to the game of fetch. This beautiful girl is content to stick by your side and observe all the moves you make.
