Description
Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois. WASABI #MADloveWASABI located in Texas... REENTERING THE CHAT Yes, your eyes ARE deceiving you. I know you *think* you're looking at a 10 lb malinois puppy but you could not be more wrong. Wasabi is not a puppy. She is a tiny, spicy weapon of mass destruction that seems to have been shrunk and MAD is now responsible for containing. Wasabi may be small enough to fit in a shoebox but she has the energy of a full grown malinois who just found out someone touched her stuff. She spins. She zooms. She side-eyes you like you owe her lunch money. Wasabi is living breathing proof that chaos comes in all sizes. Our spicy little tornado has EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) which means her tiny body needs a little extra help to do what everyone elses body does for free. She will take enzymes with every meal and needs a family not scared off by a little extra care. In exchange you get more personality per pound than you could possibly imagine. Wasabi is not just any dog, she is a tornado of determination and destruction wrapped up in the cutest package and even an adorable sweater. Wasabi continues to absolutely impress us, the crap card she got early on has not deterred her from laying down the universes beat example of a reverse uno and instead of getting sad about the things...she is taking it in a stride and moving the heck on! Stay tuned for more updates on our favorite criminal and start getting those applications in, this little girl needs her ride or die! All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and 6 month subscription. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
