Description
Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (medium coat). Rainy is a sweet, intelligent, and loving red heeler mix pup. She is mostly solid white with cute tan markings on her head. She loves to play around with her siblings and really wants to play with the resident dog and one of the cats, who both get a bit overwhelmed with her energy. She has learned to sit and lie down already for treats and is the first one of the litter to learn how to use the dog door. She does very well with pee pads and is doing well with house training, as she will go to the bathroom shortly after going outside. She likes being picked up and held and will display her gratitude with plenty of kisses. She has also done very well with meeting other people. She would be a great addition to any home. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $625.00

In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
