Adoption Pending - Rueben - Chihuahua-Unknown Mix Male Dog For Adoption in Emmett, Idaho, USA

Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat).

Rueben's adoption is pending. He is getting a chance to see if he will work out with a prospective adopter. They took advantage of our Foster - to - Adopt program to give him a try in their own home. This is Rueben! Rueben is approximately 6 years old and is an independent little guy. He's not one to run up to you and ask for pets or belly rubs. He doesn't mind being in your company, he just asks for plenty of time to adjust to his new environment. Rueben does well on leash and enjoys his walks every morning at the shelter. Ruben knows basic commands, such as sit, down and off. He likes to ride in the car, a bonus if you like to travel! Rueben would do best with a patient person that will take it slow in getting to know him. Once he trusts you, he will gladly sit in your lap and get loved on. All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter and a one year rabies vaccine. Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.
