Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Breaking News (for the small dog lovers!!): Justin Bieber is now single, 9lb and officially up for adoption! JB is 2 years old who is looking for a little extra love and time to blossom into your BFF! For a little guy still figuring things out, Justin already has some impressive skills. He is low energy, mild mannered and an excellent sleeper. At bedtime, he happily heads into his crate and sleeps there through the night. He has also done well with his foster’s 11 year old daughter, warming up to her with time just as he does with adults! (It takes him some time as he’s a little shy at first, but quickly becomes your couch buddy, trying to be as close as possible.) He’s good with cats + dogs. Justin is currently working on house training, getting comfortable on leash and, most importantly, building his confidence. His perfect home would be on the quieter side with someone who is around often and excited to give him the consistency, affection and patience to continue letting his personality shine through! Justin Bieber might be starting out as our shy little pop star, but we cannot wait to see who he becomes once he realizes the stage is finally his. He’s looking for his forever or foster to adopt home ASAP.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
