Sweetheart is a handsome tan Chihuahua who recently came into rescue after his owner passed away. He is chipped, uo-to-date on shots and neutered. Sweetheart would love a home with a gentle owner where he can feel safe and cherished once again. Though initially shy, Sweetheart has a gentle and affectionate soul. Once he feels secure, he loves to be touched, gives the sweetest kisses, and will happily come to you for affection. Sweetheart would also thrive with a family who can give him the love, patience, and gentle care he deserves. He likes going outdoors, sniffing around the yard, and exploring at his own pace and can use a dog door. With time and love, he will blossom into a loyal and loving companion who will make a wonderful addition to a quiet and patient family. Sweetheart is currently being fostered in San Bernardino County, CA. For adoption inquiries, please email AlphaDogPetRescueyahoo and ask for our adoption application. His adoption fee is $250.

Despite their tiny stature, Chihuahuas possess a big personality; they are often described as spirited, alert, and fiercely loyal to their owners, sometimes displaying a bold and confident demeanor. While their small size makes them exceptionally well-suited for apartment living, they thrive in homes where they receive ample attention and mental stimulation. They can be good family pets for older children who understand how to interact gently with a small dog, but their delicate build makes them less suitable for boisterous toddlers.
