Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Foster or forever home wanted, meet Osa. Osa found herself at the Palmdale shelter as an owner surrender back on 8/4/26. The owners gave no reason for leaving her after having her for almost 2 years! Osa is a very friendly, sweet dog that didn't seem to have people that spent too much time with her. She doesn't have the best leash manners and is your typical busy, young lab. She scored the highest possible score at the shelter at intake and the volunteers love her. Being just another black pup in an overcrowded shelter and an owner surrender, Osa wasn't given a lot of time to be noticed. When we saw her on the list of at risk dogs, we got her out of the shelter. Osa is a nice size pup at about 45 pounds. Since Osa is so new to the rescue as of 8/16, we are still getting to know her.
