Dog Breed: Terrier / Labrador Retriever. She came to us with eight (yup, eight!) puppies and proved to be a wonderful Mama Dog to them all! Her name is Snow; sheâs a 2-year-old, 50-to-55-pound Lab mix with a sweet personality. She enjoys playing with other dogs of any size and is friendly with people, too. She does prefer being indoors so she should not be considered an outdoorsy type of girl. Snow is a loving girl with a warm personality, a bit odd for a girl named Snow, huh? Well, thereâs nothing cold about her! (posted 8/25/26) " "Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $170.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
