Dog Breed: Boxer / Shepherd / Mixed (short coat). Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications. You must come to the shelter in person to meet the PAHS pets. Chunk is a 3-month-old female Boxer/Shepherd mix who was brought to the shelter because her owner could no longer care for her. She is a sturdy little pup and is expected to grow into an extra-large adult dog. Chunk has a white coat with charming brown speckles that resemble freckles, along with some black markings on her back and face. She also has brown ears and on her face. She is playful, affectionate, and highly motivated by treats. Chunk would thrive in a home with other dogs and children. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative. *****Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications.
