Meet Canela! Canela is a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys the comfortable things in life: sleeping, eating, playing, going for car rides, and spending time with the people she knows and trusts. Her former caregiver describes her as affectionate, attentive, well-behaved, and a little shy. She has a moderate activity level, reportedly walks nicely on leash, is crate trained and housetrained/pee-pad trained, and knows sit, stay, down, come, and shake. Canela can be nervous around unfamiliar people and may bark or growl when strangers approach her or enter the home. She’ll do best with a family willing to give her some space and let new friendships develop at her pace. Once she knows you, though, she has plenty of affection to share.
