Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff. Meet Charlotte! Charlotte is a sweet, funny, feisty little bundle of love looking for her forever home! ❤️ This beautiful purebred female Cane Corso is crate trained, house trained, dog friendly, and easy on a leash. She loves spending time in playgroup with both male and female dogs and really enjoys having canine friends around. Charlotte would do best in a home with at least one other dog. A male dog would probably be the easiest match, although a submissive female could also be a great fit with someone experienced in managing multiple dogs. She would be fine with older kids, but because of her size and personality, no toddlers please. Charlotte rides well in the car, loves her toys, and has excellent taste when it comes to snacks — her favorites are chicken feet, cow ears, and duck feet! She’s equal parts silly, loving, and spirited and is ready for a family who appreciates everything there is to love about a Corso. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
