He is now about 8-9 months old and he is in need of a new home. Bear is energetic and kind hearted. He loves other dogs and kids. He would greatly benefit from a structured home, with a family who is willing to invest some time in training him. His current family has been unsuccessful at house training him, and he has a habit of jumping up in excitement, which poses a fall risk to the grandparents who visit frequently. I believe these issues are related to not getting enough exercise, not enough structure, and just him being an adolescent puppy who is still learning and growing. I believe in a few months, some these issues will resolve but in the meantime he needs a new home with a family who will be patient but will also take the lead with training him and giving him lots of exercise. He is leash trained and fully vetted. In New England. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: form.jotform/212690945239059 email apps.aasrgmail with any questions. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive.
