Description
Dog Breed: Black Labrador Retriever / Mixed. {s1550code1114/} {s1550code1111/} {s1550code1113/} I'm a sweet, well trained girl looking for my forever family. My story is I tried out to be a service dog. I gave it my all I know all of my basic commands and a lot of advanced commands. I do well when accompanying you on errands I'm a little shy when it comes to meeting new people so my Trainer didn't think that I would be very happy working as a service dog. I get along great with other dogs. I'm told I'm the most popular girl at doggy daycare because I play well with all size dogs I know how to keep the fun going, but I also know how to get everybody to take a little breaks.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
