Creed is a handsome 2-year-old, 55-lb boy with a huge smile and an even bigger heart. He’s a genuinely nice boy who tested well with other dogs and is heartworm negative! Like Apollo Creed said, “There is no tomorrow!” And for shelter dogs like Creed, sometimes that’s heartbreakingly true. He needs someone in his corner today.

In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
