MEET CANDY! A very special girl with an even more special heart. ❤️ Sweet Candy is a 3-year-old girl who has overcome more than any dog should ever have to. When she was found roaming the streets, she was in heartbreaking condition—starving, sick, and desperately in need of someone to save her. Thankfully, Candy's story didn't end there. She made her way into rescue and into a loving foster home where she has been given the care, patience, and medical attention she desperately needed. And today? Candy is doing AMAZING! ❤️ Candy is a special-needs pup who has Valley Fever and epilepsy, so she will require ongoing medication to manage both conditions. The wonderful news is that her seizures are now very rare thanks to her medication, and she is thriving in her foster home. Candy is also an absolute LOVER. She loves being around her people and soaking up affection. She does well with other dogs and cats and would love a quiet home where she can finally relax and enjoy the life she deserves. Her ideal family will be one who understands that Candy's medical needs are part of who she is—not something that defines her. She needs a calm, loving home where her medications can be maintained, her health can be monitored, and she can be spoiled with all the love she missed during the first part of her life. Name: Candy Age: 3 years old Special needs: Valley Fever & epilepsy Medical care: Requires ongoing medication for Valley Fever and seizures Seizures: Very rare now with medication Good with: Dogs & cats Personality: Sweet, loving & affectionate Ideal home: Calm, patient, loving and able to monitor her medical needs Candy has already fought so hard to get where she is today. Now she needs someone who will look past her medical conditions and see the sweet, loving girl underneath it all. ❤️ She doesn't need someone to feel sorry for her. She needs someone to love her. Someone who will give her a soft place to land, keep up with her medications, watch over her health, and let her spend the rest of her life knowing she is safe and cherished. After everything Candy has been through, she deserves nothing less than a forever home filled with love, patience, and plenty of cuddles. ❤️ Could you be Candy's happily ever after?
