Cookies and fudge bar mixed dach bonded pair - Dachshund Female Dog For Adoption in York, South Carolina, USA

Dog Breed: Dachshund (short coat). Adoption Fee: 400.

THEY LOST EVERYTHING… BUT THEY STILL HAVE EACH OTHER. Meet Cookie’s n Cream & Fudge Bar, two adorable Chiweenies and two of the sweetest little souls you could ever hope to meet. These two came from a heartbreaking situation — 14 animals abandoned in a home with no power, no food and no water. They were eventually taken to the shelter, scared and confused, and we were able to take three of them into our rescue. The third was our precious senior Chihuahua, Nana. Sadly, Nana has since crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We loved her until her very last breath, and while we wish we could have given her years of happiness, we are so grateful that she got to experience love, comfort, soft beds, good food and kindness after everything she had endured. Nana left this world knowing she mattered and knowing she was loved. Now we want to give Cookie’s n Cream and Fudge Bar the happy hound tales they deserve. And if there is ANY way possible, we want that ending to be TOGETHER. Despite everything they have been through, these two are absolutely incredible dogs. They are sweet, happy, gentle, easygoing and unbelievably resilient. They are so grateful for everything — a warm bed, a good meal, a kind hand and just a little attention. They ask for so little and give back so much. COOKIE’S N CREAM • Chiweenie • 8 years old • 11 pounds • Spayed • Up to date on vaccines • Heartworm negative • Recently had a dental and only lost a few teeth • Sweet, loving and easygoing FUDGE BAR • Chiweenie • 9 years old • 10 pounds • Neutered • Up to date on vaccines • Heartworm negative • Recently had a much-needed dental and lost 23 teeth! • Feeling SO much better and ready for his new life And together? They are just amazing. ❤️ ❤️ They are wonderful with other animals and people and could even do well with considerate older children. They are the kind of dogs who could fit beautifully into pretty much any loving home. We rescue a lot of dogs, but we rarely get a pair this incredibly sweet and easy. There is something very special about these two. They survived being abandoned together and we would love nothing more than for the next door they walk through to be the door of their forever home — together.
