Date of Birth: June 7, 2026 Tiny body. Big future. Seriously adorable face. Duke is one of Cookie’s handsome little puppies, sporting beautiful black-and-tan coloring, expressive eyes, and some seriously impressive little ears that appear to have minds of their own. Duke is still at the beginning of his journey. He is growing, playing, exploring, learning, and experiencing new things every day. His adult personality is still developing, making continued positive socialization and training especially important. Duke’s forever family should be ready for everything that comes with puppyhood — house-training, supervision, puppy mischief, basic manners, socialization, and plenty of patience. He needs someone who understands that adopting a puppy means making a commitment not only to the adorable baby standing in front of you today, but also to the adult and senior dog he will eventually become. If you are looking for a little guy to grow into your best friend, sidekick, cuddle buddy, and professional household supervisor, Duke is accepting applications. Yorkie Rescue Houston provides the rescue support — you provide the safe place and the cuddles. When he is old enough, you present him to our vet for neuter surgery and only then, do we finalize the adoption. PUPPY NOTE: Puppies are adorable, but they are also a commitment. They require house-training, continued socialization, supervision, training, appropriate exercise, and patience while they learn how to become great family members. Please consider whether your schedule and lifestyle are appropriate for raising a young puppy before applying.
