Skips - Mutt Male Dog For Adoption in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA

Dog Breed: Hound / Mixed.

Hi there! I’m Skips, a 1.5-year-old black-and-white Hound mix weighing in at an easy, athletic 33 pounds! If you’re looking for a fun, smart sidekick who matches big outdoor energy with top-tier cuddle skills, look no further! Kennel life can make me feel like a total spaz, but in a real home setting, I settle right in like an old pro. My previous foster family gave me a glowing report card, calling me one of the most affectionate, cuddly dogs they’d ever met! I’m fully housebroken, get along wonderfully with kids, and love making friends with any dog I meet. I’m also super smart and eager to please: I already know "sit," "touch," and "shake," and I'm polishing up my leash walking every day. My ideal weekend? Hitting the trail for a nice hike, grabbing a pup cup on the way back, and then melting across your lap for the evening. A quick note on cats: I love everyone so much that I do try to chase them just to play, so feline friends should be dog-savvy or okay with a playful shadow! I'm all set on my care checklist: neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all shots, and tested negative on my full heartworm and tick panel! If you’re looking for an active, loyal adventure buddy who loves as hard as he plays, come meet me today!
