His previous owners surrendered him to a shelter saying he “needs too much,” but here at the rescue, we’ve gotten to know a wonderful boy who loves people and is eager to please. Exercise: Daily walks, playtime, and outings with his people. He’s an enthusiastic walking buddy who could use some practice with loose-leash manners. Best with: An active household that enjoys a close, affectionate companion. Bentley brings a lovely mix of playful energy, goofy charm, and willingness to learn. Not ideal for: Apartment living or long hours alone, as Bentley has shown some separation anxiety and barking. Older dogs who prefer quiet companionship may find his enthusiasm for play a bit much.
