Londyn is a 1-year-old, 11-pound Yorkie/Schnauzer mix—although her exact breed mix is a bit of a mystery. Whatever she is, she is one adorable little girl! Londyn is a little shy when she first meets you and, of her family, she is definitely the shyest. She came into rescue with her mom and two siblings, and while they have all been adjusting, Londyn is the one who needs a little extra time and patience to feel comfortable. Once she realizes she is safe, she will begin to come out of her shell. Her future family will need to understand that she may need a few days to a week to settle into her new home, learn the household routine, and understand what is expected of her. Giving her that time without pushing her too quickly will help her build confidence and learn to trust her new family. Londyn would do best with a family who can give her the time, patience, and individual attention she deserves. She has so much potential to blossom once she knows she is home and surrounded by people who love her. Because of her small size and adaptable nature, Londyn could do well in either a home or an apartment. She just needs a family willing to let her settle in at her own pace and help her discover what a wonderful life she has ahead of her. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
