NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 9/16/2026: Schnitzel - female - approx DOB January 2026 - 9.2 pounds - Dachshund mix Reason for intake: Schnitzel is an owner-surrender. Sadly, the young son is severely allergic and while they tried shots and other things to try to make it work, it just wasn't. Schnitzel is heading to our vet the week of 9/21/2026, for spaying and everything else she needs. Stay tuned! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.
