Major is about as great as dogs come! This loving, loyal boy has the best personality and has been living the family lifestyle since he was just a puppy. He loves being part of the day-to-day hustle and bustle and, most importantly, spending quality time with his people. Car rides, lounging on the couch, or heading out for an easy-going adventure are all right up Major’s alley—as long as he gets to experience them with his people! The one activity he may not be quite as enthusiastic about? Bath time! It’s clear that Major was very loved by his previous family, and we hope to find him a home that will love him just as much. He has never met a stranger and has been wonderful with children, showing off his gentle, friendly, and wonderfully wiggly personality. Major also enjoys the company of other dogs, though at his age, he would probably prefer a canine companion who isn’t expecting him to keep up with puppy zoomies. We are happy to provide a dog meet-and-greet prior to adoption if needed. Major has always been a house dog and has some pretty great manners to show for it! He is potty trained, crate trained, and his previous family shared that he actually enjoys relaxing in his kennel and appreciates having that safe space to call his own. He also walks well on leash and knows the cues sit, down, treat, come, and no. As with any dog entering a new home, Major will need some time to decompress, settle in, and learn his new routine—but once he does, we think he will be more than ready to settle right into family life. Major is truly such a good boy. We want nothing more than to see this sweet, loyal gentleman find a family who will love him as much as he deserves.
