At ten years old and eight delicious pounds, she has the warm, settled personality that only comes with a little life experience, and she is ready to spend the next chapter completely adored. Lula is a snuggler at heart. She will find the coziest spot, the softest blanket, and the warmest person in the room, and she will make herself right at home there. But do not let that fool you into thinking she is all nap and no adventure. When her leash comes out, so does her pep, and she walks with the cheerful, purposeful energy of a dog who genuinely enjoys her outings and wants you to enjoy them too. Lula came to us with slightly elevated kidney levels, something we caught early and are already getting ahead of. She does not require a prescription diet, but we have proactively placed her on a thoughtful, natural food regimen with targeted supplements to keep her feeling her absolute best for years to come. We are looking for an adopter who will lovingly continue this routine, because Lula deserves someone who takes her whole health seriously, and she will give back every bit of that care in snuggles and devotion. She does beautifully with calm, gentle dog companions and genuinely thrives when her person is home often.
