Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Rat Terrier / Mixed (short coat). AYE CHIHUAHUA... me llamo Taquitio! Small, spicy, and always ready to cha-cha, Taquito is a 3-month-old 6-pound Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix with enough personality packed into his tiny body to fill an entire fiesta. This little guy is basically a jumping bean with legs. He hops, bounces, wiggles, and dances his way through life, and when he gets excited, he’ll even break out his signature Taquito Salsa. Personal space? Never heard of it. Sitting still? Sounds boring. Having fun? Now that he understands. Taquito is playful, curious, affectionate, and exactly the kind of puppy who can turn an ordinary Tuesday into Taco Tuesday. He’s still young, so he’s looking for a family ready for all the usual puppy adventures—training, playtime, snuggles, and probably a little bit of mischief along the way. He is 3 months old, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and not yet neutered. His adoption fee is $300 with a $50 spay/neuter deposit that you will get back once he is neutered. If your house could use a little more spice, a lot more bouncing, and the occasional cha-cha across the living room Taquito might just be your next amigo! Our hospital is open for adoption visitation Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:00pm and Saturday's from 8:00am to 11:00am. To speed up the adoption process please visit our webiste, .mmahrescue, to fill out an application and get pre-approved when you arrive to meet your new best friend! Prior to meeting an adoptable animal we do require an approved application to be on file, sorry for this inconvenience. Cat adoption fees are $50 for kittens under 16 weeks of age and $75 for kittens/cats over 16 weeks of age. Dog adoption fees are $150 for puppies under 16 weeks of age and $175 for dogs over 16 weeks of age.
