Poppy 44366 - Mutt Female Dog For Adoption in Prattville, Alabama, USA

Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (medium coat).

Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications. You must come to the shelter in person to meet the PAHS pets. Poppy is a 4-year-old female Terrier mix who will need to be spayed before adoption. She, her litter, and her male companion were surrendered by their owners when they could no longer care for them. With a brown/brindle coat that has a scruffy texture, Poppy weighs 32 pounds, making her a medium-sized adult dog. She’s the mother of seven puppies who were also brought to PAHS. Though painfully shy and timid, Poppy is gentle and loving, and once she trusts you, she will quickly bond with her adopter, thriving on kindness, love, and attention. She would do well with children and other dogs. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative. *****Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications.
