Dog Breed: Mountain Cur / Mixed (short coat).

Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications. You must come to the shelter in person to meet the PAHS pets. Johnny Cash is a 3-year-old male mix who will need to be neutered before adoption. Found out in the county with no one to claim him, he’s a handsome tan dog with white markings on his feet and chest. Weighing 38 pounds, he’s a medium-sized adult with a playful, active personality—and quite the escape artist! He’ll need a securely fenced yard where he can enjoy playing safely, ideally with a family that has children. He also gets along well with other dogs. Energetic and loving, little Johnny Cash has a soulful charm worthy of his namesake. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative. *****Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications.
