Roger - Australian Shepherd-Unknown Mix Male Dog For Adoption in Rockwall, Texas, USA

Dog Breed: Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie / Australian Shepherd / Mixed.

Meet Roger! Roger is an approximately 4 year old male Shetland Sheepdog mix who was found as a stray off Blackland Road in Rockwall County on September 16, 2026. Sadly, no one came forward to reclaim him, and he is now available for adoption! Roger is new to our crew, so we are still getting to know his personality but he has done well with young female dogs. A meet and greet is still suggested prior to adoption if you have other dogs in the home. Since Roger has just become available for adoption, he has not yet been tested with other dogs. If you have another dog in your home, a dog to dog meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to help ensure a good match. Roger's adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination, basic boosters to date and heartworm negative. An approved online adoption application is required before scheduling a meet and greet. To apply to adopt Roger, please visit rockwalladoptions/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email infoRockwallAdoptions. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
