Meet Riddler, a 9-month old who has been patiently waiting for his forever home since late August. In that time, he’s battled a doggie cold, survived 10 days of isolation, and discovered that, shockingly, four walls and no playtime are not ideal for a young, wiggly brain.
Recently, he came down with a doggie cold and had to spend 10 days in isolation. He won the cold battle, but all that alone time turned him into a very restless mouthy youngster with way too much energy and not enough places to put it.
Out in the yard, Riddler loves playing with stuffed toys and will happily engage in a throw and fetch a stuffy game- until he knows you have yummy snacks... He will then leave the toy, sit for you, give good eye contact and wait for you to deliver him the treat. He is a smart boy who is eager to learn and please, but a busy, noisy shelter is no place for a young pup to grow up, and Riddler is no exception. He would truly thrive in a home that can give him structure, continued training, and plenty of positive outlets for his puppy energy.
Riddler also enjoys going on sniffy walks and exploring new scents and walks nicely on leash.
If you’ve been thinking about adding a little chaos, a lot of love, and a professional stuffy-fetcher to your life, Riddler might just be your guy.
Riddler has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Check out his playgroup video here:
