Scooter - Chihuahua-Unknown Mix Male Dog For Adoption in West Cornwall, Connecticut, USA

Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat).

***BONDED PAIR*** Scooter is such a happy and friendly little senior man that absolutely loves everyone he meets. He is bonded with his brother Tucker so they are a package deal, but they are a pretty easy duo that would fit nicely into anyone's lifestyle. Even though he’s a quarter of the size as his brother I’d say Scooter is the leader of their mini pack and seems to be a confident little guy. He is nice and calm and would love to cuddle on the couch but he also enjoys his leisurely walks where he can check out all the daily smells. He doesn’t seem crazy about his toys, he mostly just likes to hang out on the back of their chair in their room so if you have a comfy chair with a nice window view Scooter would urge you to come say hello! The dogs are in fact living in a kennel environment during their time with us. Even if they have previously lived in a home and been trained - the stress of the change and the new home can sometimes cause regression and require some additional training. We feel that it's best for all adopters to be prepared for this possibility. Visit our adoption page for details about our process, and to fill out an adoption application. All animals come spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped. If the animals age or health prevents any of these from being completed prior to adoption a voucher is issued for the services to be performed. If you have any questions about the animal, or our adoption process, please email adoptlittleguild. The Little Guild is a 501c(3) federally recognized non-profit organization devoted to saving the lives of homeless pets.
