"Beanie"- ADOPTION PENDING - Chihuahua Female Dog For Adoption in Rootstown, Ohio, USA

Dog Breed: Chihuahua (short coat).

Foster Home or Adopter Needed! Approximately 7 years old and weighing in at 4 1/2 lbs, they call me Beanie. I have back legs that look crouched, from compressed discs in my back and luxating patellas. My past is a mystery, but us little dogs get injured in a big world. It does not keep me from walking or running. I may be tiny, but I'm mighty. I'm looking for a foster home or foster to adopt. My best defense was to act tough. I can be reactive, but it is all a show. I warm up to my new person in a day. I will give you gentle, sweet kisses. I have had a rough life and the stress probably gave me the heart murmur I have. It's only a grade1b. I also have a collapsing trachea. Cough meds help me with that. I am spayed and had a dental, so I feel much better. I can be bossy with other pets in the home, out of fear. Acting tough is my survival mechanism. I am fine, if they stay in their space. I can handle other animals, cat or dog. It would be nice to not have too many around me. My people are all that I need. It will make you smile to see my little tail wag. Please make my last years with you, the best years of my life. Chihuahua through and through! We just don’t think this little sweetie has had a good life at all and are hoping maybe someone can change that for her.
