Cammie *COURTESY LISTING - Mutt Male Dog For Adoption in Cookeville, Tennessee, USA

Dog Breed: Schnauzer / Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie / Mixed.

COURTESY LISTING CAMMIE is a courtesy listing, not in the AARF foster program, and we are posting online to help the owner find a home for them. Please visit aarf-tn/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. Cammie is a devoted little companion with a heart full of love and a serious talent for snuggling. At 16 years old and about 14.5 pounds, this sweet boy has an easygoing personality and is happy to spend much of the day relaxing, but he can still be ready for a little play when the mood strikes. Cammie loves being close to his person and will happily follow you around to make sure he knows what you're up to. His tiny cropped tail wiggles at impressive speed when he's happy, and he loves curling up under your arm or nestling against your neck. Toss him a toy and he may bring it right back for a little game of tug. Cammie has learned an impressive collection of hand signals, including sit, down, back and heel, and understands that raised hands mean the treats are gone. He is mostly housetrained, although he may occasionally have an accident if left too long. He is also a quiet companion who generally only barks when he hears something he knows is unusual. He loves car rides and prefers riding in the back seat. Cammie is a people lover who has done well around dogs, cats, farm animals and children who are gentle with him. He is a little hard of hearing, but a clap or other visual cue gets his attention. At his age, he does have some medical needs, including dental care that should be discussed with his veterinarian. Cammie would love a calm home with people who appreciate the joys of an older dog and want a loyal little shadow by their side. If this affectionate senior sounds like your kind of companion, contact A.A.R.F. at 931-260-8018 to learn more about Cammie and arrange a meeting. Interested in adopting?
