Jax is a 3-year-old, 44-pound mixed breed who is an absolute love bug! He’ll greet you in the morning asking for belly rubs, welcome you at the door with his big, wiggly happy butt. He’s a true shadow dog who just wants to be near his person—and if you allow dogs on the bed, he’s definitely going to take you up on the invitation! Jax is 100% housebroken. No crate needed for this guy . He's fine in the house alone & has never chewed anything . This boy LOVES to play fetch and could chase his ball over and over again! He is very active & would do well with an active person or family. He comes when called to , or just a whistle . He has been outside on the 10 acre farm with no leash , just hangs out . He knows commands, sit , down , paw & stay . Jax walks great on a leash & goes shopping at Rural king & Lowe's & steals the show . He does not bother the chickens or barn cats . A simple "leave it " & he will walk away . He travels well in the car & lays down in the back seat . He's easy to keep clean & does not shed very much . He truly is a great dog & at no fault of his own ended up in foster care. His original owner passed & he was surrendered to us to find him his forever family . Jax is an active, smart, loving guy who loves getting outside, playing fetch, and having things to do—but once he’s had some exercise and playtime, he settles beautifully indoors. He’s happy to curl up on the couch, relax, and simply hang out with his person. He has that wonderful combination of being ready for an adventure when you are and perfectly content to lounge around the house afterward.
