TOBY - Chihuahua-Unknown Mix Male Dog For Adoption in Alameda, California, USA

Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed (medium coat).

* Handsome young guy with a curious side * Enjoys getting outside for walks * Does well with calm, respectful dogs Meet Toby! This handsome young guy takes a little time to warm up to new people, but with patience and a gentle approach, he starts to show his sweet side. He can be nervous around strangers and isn’t comfortable being picked up or handled right away. Once he gets to know you, he becomes more open to affection. Toby enjoys getting outside for walks and exploring his surroundings. He has a strong-willed side and likes to go where he wants, so he’ll do best with someone who gives him time to settle in and build confidence at his own pace. He has also done well meeting other dogs who give him space. He may keep his distance at first, but he can relax and calmly sniff and coexist with a canine friend. Toby appreciates having his boundaries respected and the chance to get comfortable on his own terms. Toby is looking for a patient home that understands he needs a little time to feel safe. Give this sweet boy the chance to get to know you, and you may just become his favorite person!
