Meet Boots! - The Ultimate Adventure Buddy (and Part-Time Velociraptor).
Boots is an absolutely adorable 9-pound mixed-breed puppy born on July 9, 2026.
If you’re looking for a boring couch potato, keep scrolling! But if you want a ridiculously smart, handsome, and loving sidekick to join you on life's adventures, say hello to Boots! Boots is a mystery mix (we see a little Lab, a dash of Malinois, and maybe a sprinkle of Chihuahua attitude!). In just one week in his foster home, this brainy boy has already mastered his name, sit, down, and is making awesome progress on stay and loose-leash walking. He is super food-motivated, eager to please, and loves a good puzzle or lick mat!
Boots’ Favorite Things:
Big Adventures: This little athlete will happily power-walk 5 miles with you!
Making Friends: He adores EVERYONE—men, women, kids, and even babies! He’s friendly with other dogs (just gets excited!) and is learning to moderate his big puppy voice.
Bedtime Cuddles: Once he winds down after a day of walks and brain games, he’s a total lovebug.
What He’s Working On:
Like any smart, working-breed pup, Boots has high energy and can enter "playful velociraptor mode" in the evenings if he hasn't exercised his body and mind. He’s currently learning that he doesn't always need to bark to make his point. He’s almost fully house-trained on a solid routine and sleeps straight through the night in his crate like a champ once he settles!
Ideal Home:
Boots would thrive in an active home (with or without dog siblings!) ready to keep up with his training, exercise, and play. Because of his puppy energy, he’s a bit too much for cats, but he’s ready to give 100% of his heart to his forever family!
Ready for a lifetime of hikes, tail wags, and kisses? Apply to adopt Boots today! Boots is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $350.
