Fly - Australian Shepherd-Unknown Mix Male Dog For Adoption in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / Mixed.

Fly is a well-behaved, faithful, and loyal sidekick who loves nothing more than being by your side! Fly is 6-to-7-years old and is ready to find his forever home. Fly has perfect house manners! He is fully potty trained and excellent at sleeping through the night in his crate. He doesn’t chew on or get into anything. You can count on peaceful evenings and clean floors! Fly is incredibly loyal. He absolutely loves being around his people. If you want a devoted companion who will make you feel like the center of the universe, he is your guy. Fly has a low to medium energy level. He lives for car rides and could spend all day riding around. He behaves perfectly in the car. He loves walks and does best when he gets one once a day. Fly walks great on a leash and doesn’t need a fast pace, just a good stroll. But if you’d like a fast pace, he’d be happy to go along with that too. Fly is smart and teachable. He is very well-behaved and responds beautifully to commands. He is currently working on a goal—learning not to bark when he sees someone pass the back door. He just gets excited and thinks it’s time for a walk or car ride. He is making progress with it. Fly has some hearing loss and is partially deaf. We think it is in his left ear, but it doesn't slow him down a bit. He just listens extra hard with his right! And he responds to verbal clues so well! Fly is Dog-Friendly, but prefers not to play with other dogs. He is great at coexisting and does wonderful sharing a room with other dogs. He just isn't interested in playing with them, so he would thrive as the center of attention in your home or be ok alongside dogs who are good respecting him not playing with them. He does like a little space. If you are ready for a loyal, well-trained, and loving companion to share your life and car rides with, he is waiting for you! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200.
