Bailey - Bernese Mountain Dog-Labrador Retriever Mix Female Dog For Adoption in Palmer, Alaska, USA

Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Bernese Mountain Dog / Mixed (medium coat).

Meet Bailey! This sweet, active girl has plenty of love, enthusiasm, and fun to bring into her future home! Bailey originally lived in a family home, where she showed off her smarts by learning cues like sit, down, off, come, drop, and even fetch! She loves her rubber toys and is always happy to join you for a car ride or an adventure. Bailey is a friendly girl who enjoys meeting people, though she may be a little shy around new faces at first. Once she gets comfortable, her playful personality shines! As a younger, energetic pup, Bailey is still learning her manners and can get a little rambunctious when excitement takes over. She’ll benefit from continued positive-reinforcement training, along with regular exercise, mental stimulation, and fun activities that give her energy a positive outlet. Think walks, interactive toys, games, and learning new skills together! Because Bailey can get a little enthusiastic, she may be too much energy for some small children. She has been reported to do well with other dogs and cats, although she has been known to chase small animals outdoors and has not been introduced to livestock. If you have a canine companion at home, we’re happy to arrange a dog meet-and-greet before adoption to help ensure everyone is set up for success. Bailey is ready to find a family who can keep her curious mind busy, help her continue learning, and embrace all the fun that comes with a young dog. If you’re looking for a playful partner in adventure who’s just as ready to learn as she is to love, Bailey might be your girl!
