*BETTY - Borador Female Dog For Adoption in Sacramento, California, USA

Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Border Collie / Mixed (medium coat).

Meet Betty! If Betty is nine, she’s only nine on paper! This girl may have a frosted face, but don’t let those distinguished silver hairs fool you. There’s still some spring in her step, a twinkle in her eye, and a little nostalgia for the days when she ran with the kids! Betty enjoys her time in the play yard with her canine friends, proving that growing older doesn't mean giving up on a good time. She still has plenty of life to enjoy and would love a person to share it with. And honestly? Betty might be just what you've been looking for. She's a nice medium-sized girl who can keep up with you on walks and everyday adventures without requiring hours of exercise to stay happy. Plus, she's well past the puppy shenanigans stage. No chewing up your favorite shoes because she's teething, no endless puppy chaos—just a mature gal who's ready to enjoy the good life with you. Think leisurely walks, exploring the neighborhood, hanging out together, and enjoying the simple pleasures. Betty has earned the right to skip the drama and get straight to the good stuff! Senior dogs have so much love and life left to share, and Betty is a wonderful reminder that age is just a number. If you're looking for a companion who's still got some pep in her step but doesn't need to run a marathon to be happy, this frosty-faced sweetheart deserves a spot on your list. Betty isn't over the hill. She's just taking the scenic route! Betty has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match!
