Astra - Chihuahua-Unknown Mix Female Dog For Adoption in Andover, Minnesota, USA

Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Terrier / Mixed.

About Me Meet Astra, a sweet and loyal companion who’s ready to find her forever family. Astra is a professional cuddler—she’ll happily snuggle up with you after a walk or a play session in the yard. She loves being your shadow, always close by and keeping a gentle, watchful eye on her people. She’s happiest when she can run outside with the kids or play in a pile of leaves, which is her favorite activity, and she’s always up for a walk or a soft treat. Astra is crate trained, is trained to sit and lay, and comes every time her name is called. She enjoys cats and children, but can get a bit excited around kids. She enjoys meeting new people and is friendly with visitors. She’s a little wary of crawling babies and needs very slow introductions to other dogs, but she can coexist peacefully once she’s comfortable. Astra is sensitive to unexpected loud noises, so a calm home would be ideal. Leash training and continued support with dog introductions will help Astra thrive as she can be reactive to other dogs. Potty training is also a work in progress. She's nervous in new environments so she's hopeful for a patient home while she gets accustomed. She’s come a long way—from South America to Texas to Minnesota—and is ready for a loving home where she can be your loyal companion. If you’re looking for a devoted friend who will always be by your side, Astra (or Mia, as her foster family calls her!) is waiting to meet you. Apply today to welcome her into your family!
