Dog Breed: Bloodhound (short coat).

Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications. You must come to the shelter in person to meet the PAHS pets. Preacher is a 5-year-old male Bloodhound awaiting neutering before adoption. Surrendered by his owner who could no longer care for him, this impressive 86-pound fellow boasts a stunning copper-colored coat with chocolate markings. Easy going and friendly, Preacher would be great with children and other dogs—though not with cats. This lovable big guy will be a truly wonderful companion, and will form strong bonds with his family and will thrive on interaction with his “people.” He loves being part of family activities and shows his affection through nudges, leaning, and his big, wagging tail. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative. *****Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications.
