Stella B. - Chihuahua Female Dog For Adoption in Ellijay, Georgia, USA

Dog Breed: Chihuahua.

Meet Stella, a tiny Chihuahua with a big personality! At 8 years old, this lively girl still loves exploring the yard and showing off her adorable treat dance on her hind legs. She takes treats gently, walks reasonably well on a leash, and much prefers having a safely fenced yard to sniff and explore. Stella has a sweet, snuggly side—with a little Chihuahua spice! She enjoys affection on her terms and loves sleeping in bed with her person. She gets along wonderfully with her foster’s dogs. She occasionally chases the cats, so feline friendships would need thoughtful introductions and supervision. Stella also has a few care needs her future family should know about. She gets carsick and has luxating patellas in both back legs, although she currently manages stairs well. She wears a diaper indoors because she marks; her foster hopes this will improve after her upcoming spay, but it isn’t guaranteed. She will also begin heartworm treatment soon. With her tiny paws, spirited personality, and love of bedtime cuddles, Stella is ready to charm a patient family who will embrace her quirks and support her care.~~If you are interested in this animal, you can complete the questionnaire found on the available pets page of our website hbpr.
