Meet Bagel, a 3-month-old German Shepherd/Lab mix with adorable party ears, a playful spirit, and a heart full of love!! He may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his playful, quirky side comes out. Bagel is sweet, snuggly, and loves to have fun with his favorite people! This little guy is obsessed with sticks, rope toys, tennis balls, and anything he can safely chew. One of his funniest habits is flopping into the grass and rolling around like he’s soaking up all the happiness life has to offer. When you call him, he may hop, bounce, and play-bow his way over to you. Those big ears are still learning to listen, but a little motivation goes a long way! Bagel has come a long way since his first weeks of life spent living under a car. The big, noisy world can still feel scary sometimes, but he’s steadily gaining confidence and learning that there’s plenty of love waiting for him. He’ll thrive with a patient family who lets him settle in at his own pace and encourages him with positive reinforcement. Bagel does well with other dogs and loves kids, although his puppy enthusiasm can sometimes get the best of him. His experience with cats is unknown. He’s doing great with house training, with occasional accidents, and is comfortable in his crate, where he sleeps and naps happily. He’ll even let you know when he needs a potty break! Bagel enjoys outdoor playtime and is often perfectly happy with a fun play session followed by snuggles. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
