Fred - Colonial Cocker Spaniel-Unknown Mix Male Dog For Adoption in Canton, Connecticut, USA

Dog Breed: Hound / Spaniel / Mixed.

Fred is ready to solve the ultimate mystery: finding his forever home! As part of the ultimate Mystery Inc. puppy crew, Fred and his siblings, Velma and Shaggy, were brought to safety by a kindhearted Samaritan after their mother was struck by a car. Despite a rough start, this 4-month-old Hound and Spaniel mix has grown into a happy, healthy, and absolutely beautiful pup who is ready to pack up his green ascot and move into your heart. Fred currently weighs 15 pounds and is estimated to be a medium-size dog once fully grown, weighing between 31 to 60 pounds. Fred is a certified social butterfly. He loves children and gets along great with other dogs, making him a fantastic addition to an active, loving household. Fred has not been introduced to cats so it is unknown how he will be with them. Because he is still a young pup, his house, leash, and crate training are all currently in progress. Bringing a puppy like Fred into your life is an incredibly rewarding adventure, but it comes with real responsibility. Right now, Fred is like a blank canvas. He will need a family dedicated to consistent training, patience during potty accidents, and plenty of mental stimulation to keep his hound nose and spaniel brains busy. The payoff is absolutely priceless. You will get to experience the pure joy of watching his goofy ears flop as he discovers the joy of playing fetch, snuggling up after a long day of backyard exploring. and creating lifelong memories as he grows from a clumsy pup into a loyal best friend. So, what do you say? Are you ready to hop into the Mystery Machine and drive off into the sunset with this sweet boy? Fred is ready to say, Scooby-Dooby-Doo, I am ready for you!! * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine.
