Kathy - Mutt Female Dog For Adoption in Tarrytown, Georgia, USA

Dog Breed: Unknown breed (short coat).

***Kathy is scheduled to be transported to New Jersey on Oct. 23. She'll be available for adoption in the Flemington, New Jersey area. An application for Kathy's adoption can be submitted at socorescue (no need to register or login). Questions about Kathy and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8gmail; please do not call the Rescue's number.*** Kathy was found as a stray that had apparently been abandoned just below SoCo Rescue. While she was found all alone, we had actually found what appears to be her brother (Smith) a week earlier in the same place and had to set a trap to catch him. Kathy was very thin and hungry when found as her time as a stray had already begun to take its toll on her small body. We're not exactly sure of Kathy's breed mix but think that she'll end up being a mid-sized dog once fully grown. What we do know is that she's already well-socialized towards people and other pups and has a great personality. She loves to snuggle and receive attention from our staff. Kathy should make a great addition into a home that is seeking a mid-sized dog and can give her plenty of room to run and play We've just started Kathy on her regiment of de-wormings and vaccinations. She has already received 1 of 3 of her first year puppy vaccines. She's still a little too young to receive her rabies vaccine, which should be administered after she reaches 12 weeks of age. Kathy's adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 6 months old and provide SoCo Rescue with verification of such. Kathy will require all of her basic training. Per our adoption policy, Kathy can be pre-adopted, but will not be released to her new home until a week after receiving her second vaccine ( Estimated release date: Nov. 9).
