CR - Remi - Labrador Retriever-Unknown Mix Female Dog For Adoption in San Diego, California, USA

Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat).

Forever home wanted, meet Remi!! Remi and her four siblings are lucky puppies! There were a total of 6 that entered the shelter on 10/10 as owner surrenders. Normally when we see gorgeous puppies like this come into the shelter we tend to look away. We just assume the demand would be so great, they'd be adopted by members of the public. A volunteer happened to take a peek at them on the county website 4 days after they arrived. Their status changed from the morning to the late afternoon, so she inquired. Overnight, things changed dramatically. One of their siblings passed away and a test showed he was positive for parvo. The shelter removed them from the website and sent out a 24 hour notice for a rescue to take them by 5 PM on 10/14 or they would be euthanized for being exposed to Parvo. We had them tested and they were all negative for the virus! We still opted to give them antibodies as a precaution. Remi and her siblings are thriving in their foster home and are healthy, happy, playful puppies! They are all perfect little puppies, nailing pee pad training! They sleep through the night like little angels and are patient when their foster mom goes in their room in the morning to let them outside and to fix their breakfast! To think they were hours away from losing their lives is mind boggling! This litter will be larger dogs so know that going in. At their age of roughly 3 months, they weigh upwards of 22 pounds. If you are interested in meeting Remi or any of her siblings, please head over to labradorsandfriends to fill out an application. Remi and her siblings are located in Southern California.
