Winterthur (NOT YET AVAILABLE) - Maltese Male Dog For Adoption in Benton, Louisiana, USA

Dog Breed: Maltese (medium coat).

Please read the pet description IN IT'S ENTIRETY before applying. Thank you for your cooperation. NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 10/19/2026: Winterthur - male - 4 years old - 9.4 pounds - Maltese Reason for intake: Winterthur came in with Bellinzona... via animal control; both from the recent hoard situation where these will be the 12th and 13th dog/puppy we've taken in. There were about 30 dogs and puppies and 6 cats in the home, all seized due to the living conditions. Animal control is working with the people to assist them in getting the help they need. Please no negative comments. We were told that Winterthur was the daddy to the puppies we've taken in and to most of the other younger dogs in the home. Winterthur and Bellinzona will be heading to our groomer and vet very soon for everything they need. Stay tuned. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link: .facebook/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at .roadtorescuela. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” ~ Gandhi Be responsible ~ Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life.
