Finn—Part Chatterbox, Part Cuddlebug
Sit, Down, Speak...WHERE'S MY TREAT?!
Finn is a friendly, enthusiastic boy with a big personality, a bigger heart, and absolutely NO patience when snacks are involved!
This smart cookie knows `down` and `speak,` but when treats appear, he sometimes performs his entire routine without being asked. Sit! Down! BARK! BARK! Apparently, he's discovered the express lane to snack delivery!
Finn can get carried away with excitement, jumping up for kisses and taking treats a bit enthusiastically. But underneath all that energy is a love bug. Sit down with him and he may curl up between your legs, park himself on your foot, and MELT when the pets begin.
On walks, Finn pulls moderately and would benefit from a harness and continued leash training. He's also a chatterbox who could use help learning `quiet.`
Finn arrived at the shelter with his gal pal Quincy (A929913), and the two currently share a kennel. If you're looking for double the personality, these two might be worth meeting together!
Smart, affectionate, and eager to learn, Finn just needs patience, consistency, and someone who appreciates his enthusiasm.
Now, about those TREATS...
Finnegan recently met some social dogs at our shelter and did fine. He wasn’t ready to play, but we hope that as he gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, he’ll be ready to show us his silly side with other dogs. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Check out his playgroup video here:
