A FUN, SWEET & ACTIVE FRIEND: Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 19 lbs. Hi there, I'm Vanessa! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a new home. I'm enjoying my time with the nice volunteers who spend time with and take great care of me—they are so much fun to hang out with! Now I hear that I'm ready to find a wonderful family of my very own, where I can love and be loved furever! I hope to meet them very soon and charm them with my fun and lively spirit! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / No cats please. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a playful, friendly, and sweet girl with an active personality and a whole lot of fun to share! I'm a busy gal who likes to keep things interesting, so if you're looking for a couch potato, that's not me! I'd love a family who enjoys spending time together and can give me plenty of fun activities to keep my mind and body happy. I was a very good girl for my bath, even lifting each paw for rinsing like a little lady! And just look at my beautiful coat! I do enjoy expressing myself with a bit of talking, so apartment or condo living may not be the best fit for me. One important thing to know is that I'm a door dasher, so please be extra careful when entering and exiting to keep me safe. I'm a lively, loving girl ready to bring plenty of fun and companionship to my furever family! / Energy level: 5-7, sometimes a bit higher. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the 'sit', 'come' and 'drop it' commands. I'm working on my leash manners now as I do zig-zag a bit and could trip you. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts and were good in a temporary home I visited for about a week. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule and were good in the temporary home I visited for about a week. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love toys, running around, and having fun with my people! If you have a fenced yard, I think we could have a great time running and playing together. I'm also a fan of good butt scratches (oh, that's the spot!) and, even though I'm an active girl, I enjoy being carried and held for a little cuddle time, too. I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we like doing together in our new home! / I can't think of any dislikes other than not getting enough activity and like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I'm a wonderful fun-loving girl looking for a family that will include me in on the family fun and love me furever! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
