Sammy - Great Dane-Labrador Retriever Mix Male Dog For Adoption in Lakewood, Colorado, USA

Dog Breed: Great Dane / Labrador Retriever / Mixed.

This pup will be available to meet starting on 10/31 Sammy is a happy, playful, social butterfly who absolutely LOVES people and other dogs, big and small! He believes everyone is a potential new best friend, and he's more than happy to make introductions. He's also a smart little gentleman who already knows to sit for treats. Apparently, snacks are the fastest way to this growing boy's heart! At just six months old, Sammy still has plenty of growing and learning ahead of him. He's looking for a forever family who will help him grow into the wonderful big dog he's destined to become. Think long-legged adventures, goofy puppy antics, backyard playdates, and eventually a VERY large cuddle buddy who has absolutely no concept of his own size. Colorado, if you've always dreamed of having a big dog with an even bigger heart, Sammy is your guy! He's ready for mountain adventures, new friendships, plenty of playtime, and a lifetime of love with a family who will never have to watch him grow up from a shelter kennel. Sammy isn't just looking for a home. He's looking for a whole BIG life ahead of him! And trust us, this handsome boy has a whole lot of love to grow into! They were rescued from a shelter in New Mexico. Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees are non refundable once a pet is taken home. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up in Colorado, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances delaying pick up. Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.
