Lucy Lou II - Boxer Dog For Adoption Lucy Lou II - Boxer Female Dog For Adoption in Austin, Texas, USA

Dog Breed: Boxer.

11/2/2026 Lucy Lou II is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Lucy Lou II! I am a beautiful 1 year old flashy fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to my owner being a truck driver and not having the time for me and life on the road is not ideal for me. I am described as friendly, active, smart, noisy, and playful! I do not live with other dogs but it is said that I am dog friendly. I do not live with cats or kids, so it is uncertain if I am cat or kid friendly. I do jump on people because I get very excited so my caretaker says I may not be a good fit for a family with small children. I know basic commands, am house trained, but would need assistance with crate training if that is required in my forever home. I eat Healthy Choice puppy food from Tractor Supply and at night I sleep in the bed or recliner with the humans. I do sleep on my dog bed, but that is a very rare occasion. If the humans must be away, I am good but I have never been left alone for more than 2 hours. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I am fearful of fireworks and do not like being told no, getting too hot, or being crated/locked in confined spaces. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, tire with rope toy, squeaky toys, chewing on plastic bottles, catching water from the hose, sleeping by the humans feet or under the blankets, 'argue' or 'talk back' when I don't' get what I want, playing with dogs my size, and treats! If you think I would make a great addition to your family contact the rescue today because I am waiting to meet you!
